Lawyer John Ndebugri Says Everyone Who Watched The Anas Video Is In Contempt Of Court

Thousands thronged into the Accra International Conference Centre on Tuesday to catch a glimpse of ‘Ghana in the eyes of God- Epic of Injustice’.

However, if you turn out to be one of the ‘too inquisitive for their own good’ Ghanaians, you are in contempt of court; according to this lawyer anyway.

John Ndebugri is a lawyer representing some of the judges implicated in the scandal. According to him, every single person who saw the video is in contempt.

This is because he said a court order was sought to prevent the Accra International Conference Centre from screening the video. One was sought against Anas and TigerEye PI but had to be dropped.

“The showing of the video is in absolute contempt of the High Court of the republic of Ghana.

“If I were the lawyers for Justice Dery, I would’ve stationed an equally powerful camera like Anas’ to capture all the people who are going in to the AICC to view. They are all culpable; they are all in contempt of court including the minister and diplomats” he stressed.

“My information indicated that there was another application for injunction restraining the AICC from airing the video. My instructions are that that application has been duly served on the management of the AICC.

“The management of the AICC who are aware that there is an application pending against the airing of this video and have gone ahead to open its doors and accept people to come and view the video is obviously disrespectful of the court and the judicial process,” he stated

Yeah. So start calling Lawyer Ndebugri, I’m sure he would vigorously defend you.
