Veteran Highlife Musician Blasts Sarkodie |Says He is Arrogant

Veteran Highlife musician-Obouba J. A. Adofo, popularly known as “Shining Star” has described Sarkodie  as arrogant, disrespectful and ungrateful. Obuoba expressed dislike for the manner in which Sarkodie reacted to the media in recent times to promote his new album.

According to the “Owuo mpaso” hitmaker Sarkodie must render an unqualified apology to the media.

Sarkodie is reported to have said that  he “is of age and don’t just grant radio interviews.” This statement did not go well with many media houses and personalities. Obouba added his voice to the let-down by Sarkodie.

Speaking to Mike 2 on the Adom Entertainment Hall over the weekend, Adofo condemned the actions of the rapper and advised Sarkodie to quickly apologize to the media fraternity. He explained that the young musicians of today are arrogant because they make money easily as compared to years back.

Obuoba took the opportunity to advise young musicians to be humble and treat people with respect as that would sustain their popularity and help their career last.

Sarkodie’s recently album launch at Tamale was a flop and many attributed the low turn out to lack of media support.
