Legendary American producer Quincy Jones was rushed to hospital on Thursday after he suffered chest pains.
The 82 old, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013, is one of the people who were most influential in the success of the King of Pop.
The incident took place on Thursday in his Bel Air home, with paramedics called to the scene who rushed him to hospital. It was a suspected cardiac incident, but he sailed through.
“Quincy had some shortness of breath and in an abundance of caution he went in for observation. He is fine.” A rep for the producer told TMZ.
Jones produced Jackson’s bestselling albums Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), and Bad (1987).
He is the winner of twenty seven Grammy awards.
