Noelle Wiyaala is not your typical artiste, but like Eminem her energy on stage is incredible and people connect to that.
So she’s making it big since she broke onto the scene, although it wasn’t always this rosy.
Wiyaala revealed that with no support, she had to fund her first album herself. Determined to make it, she did most of the production herself, saying she spent around 600 Ghana cedis on the album.
She was speaking with Anita Erskine on the One Show on Viasat 1.
“I used 600 cedis for my first album when I started music. This is because; I was doing everything on my own. I had to fund everything on that album,”
“I was not ready to compromise my music career so I told myself, whether or not I get a helping hand from elsewhere, I just wanted to do it. I believe that if I should start then people can see how serious I am and then they can be compelled to help me.”
With such determination, is anyone surprised Wiyaala is who she is today?
