2015 Miss Universe Ghana Hilda Akua Frimpong Alleged To Have Bought Her Way To The Crown

Hilda Akua Frimpong won the 2015 pageant, and is now facing allegations of having bought her way to the top.

Other contestants are claiming the award was not decided by merit, but was handed to Hilda. One of them, Yaa Gyamfi, said she spent a lot of money herself to get into the contest, and claims Hilda just spent way more.

An alleged email correspondence between two of the pageant organisers discusses having the ‘pageant princess’ emerge as the winner.

One of the organisers, PY Addo Boateng, told BolaNita on the Starr Drive Monday that the email addresses in the evidence provided did not belong to the alleged conspirators.
