Nigeria’s President Buhari On State Visit To Ghana

President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari would be in Ghana Monday to meet President John Dramani Mahama.

The pair would discuss matters on bilateral relations, regional security, trade, and other issues of common interests to the two nations and the regional body, ECOWAS, of which the two have the largest economies.

A statement from the Flagstaff House Communications Bureau said the Nigerian leader would be received at the Golden Jubilee Lounge of the Kotoka International Airport by President John Dramani Mahama.

The two presidents would then move into bilateral discussions to be followed by a joint statement at the Peduase Lodge in the afternoon.

Travelling with President Buhari are the National Security Adviser, Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd.) and the Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defence, Justice and Industry, Trade and Investment.
