The Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur was at the NDC headquarters yesterday to pick up nomination forms for President Mahama for the upcoming flag bearership race in the party.
Despite being bedevilled by more problems than any President in history, the NDC are firmly ensconced behind their leader, with the picking up of the forms accompanied by a party atmosphere by supporters and executives.
General Mosquito, who was at the party headquarters, oversaw the entire process and seemed in a vibrant mood.
President Mahama is expected to be challenged by one George Boateng for the flag bearership slot, after it earlier emerged that he had picked his nomination forms.
Now the party is saying that he has not picked the right forms. Asiedu Nketiah insists his signature is needed to endorse the presidential forms and he has not endorsed any forms. Actually some staffers have been sacked for issuing the forms out to Mr Boateng.
Unfortunately, it seems we are not going to be seeing Mr Boateng’s execution plans for gays and lesbians come to fruition anytime soon.
