Making a career switch in life is not easy—it is a win or lose affair, and for one to be successful after a career switch depends on how determine the person is to make it.
Veteran Nigerian actor, Hanks Anuku has revealed his intention to put a hold on his acting career to venture into full time music.
To show that he is damn serious about this, the actor known for often playing villain character in movies has released his first ever single titled “Bobo Bobo.”
‘Bobo Bobo’ is an Igbo term which means “Guy Guy” talks about fidelity. It advises men to hold their women and treat them well because she may mean a lot to other men out there. The song also counsels ladies to do the same.
“Bobo Bobo” is produced by Super Brain for AfroFusion Music; a Music label owned by Ghana based Nigerian musician Jonathan Nwabinobi also known as Eze.
“For now I am doing music because I have pulled off the acting career. Music has been in me for a very long time and I feel it’s time to show the world that aside the acting, I am naturally endowed with other talents. I have resigned as an actor to a full time musician.
Anytime I think about things going on, I feel I have to make a step considering the backbiting and favouritism in the movie industry and it is not making the movie industry a better place to belong yet I believe when one door closes thousand doors open,” Hanks told Flex newspaper.
