Waja shared the above picture on Instagram with the caption; “Today, I have a new name. Feel free to call me ‘Victory’ because I have come out victorious at every stage of my life. I am a testimony of God’s goodness! Words fail me right now.

“All I can say is thank You for the gift of life, love, family; new goals, new fire, new battles but to win because my name is ‘Victory’, a woman after God’s heart.”

WAJE is an acronym for Words Aren’t Just Enough. The singer grew up in Benin City, Edo State. Her dad is from Edo, while her mum hails from Onitsha, Anambra State. Waje started singing when she was a young girl.
