Family And Friends Remembers Michael Jackson On His 57th Birthday

Michael Joseph Jackson would’ve marked his 57th birthday on Saturday, August 29, if not death which laid its cold hands on him.

Though he’s dead and gone, his memories still endures with us.

The King of Pop died in June 2009 of acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication at his home in Los Angeles.

Fans, family, and friends out-poured their love and affectionate messages on Saturday in honor of the late Jackson for his contribution to the music industry.

Jackson’s siblings Jermaine and La Toya both tweeted in honor of their brother, with Jermaine simply saying, “Hold close the memories” and La Toya noting, “Your presence elevated everyone! Your music brought us joy! Your gift will be with us always!” His brother Tito Jackson posted a childhood photo on Facebook with the caption, “Happy birthday MJ.”

“Happy birthday Michael. I’m here ’cause you were here first,” tweeted Kravitz. “Love and respect always #happybirthdaymj.” Diddy also shared a throwback photo from one of the times he hung out with Jackson, writing, “Happy birthday King!”

Chris Brown tweeted, “RIP MJ!!! LOVE YOU AND WE ALL MISS YOU!!!!” Justin Bieber said, “Happy birthday MJ! #RIP, and rising star Shawn Mendes wrote, “Happy birthday to the best..Michael Jackson.”

The Jacksons Facebook page also shared a photo of young MJ, saying, “Forever in our hearts…Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009).
