The Ghanaian Times Reporter Who Died In The Presidential Press Corps Accident Will Be Laid To Rest On September 17

The family of the Ghanaian Times reporter, Samuel Nuamah who loss his life in an accident has announced that he will be laid to rest on September 17, 2015.

The late Nuamah was killed in the line of duty when the presidential press corps were involved in a fatal accident when returning from an assignment at Ho in the Volta Region of Ghana on Thursday, August 20.

President Mahama today, led a high powered delegation to the one week memorial service of Samuel Nuamah at the Press Center in Accra.

“Samuel I’m so gutted by your death, 6 years of dedicated service in my office and it had to end like this… Fare thee well,” President Mahama wrote this when signing the book of condolence on Saturday.

The final funeral rite for the late journalist would be held at the forecourt of the State House, Accra and will later be laid to rest at the Osu Cemetary.

He was survived by his wife and a 2-year-old son.
