Presidential Press Corps Accident: Four Journalists In Critical Condition As President Pays Them A Visit

Four reporters are currently in critical condition at the  Emergency Trauma and Surgical Department of the 37 Military Hospital following the fatal accident involving the Presidential press corps on Thursday.

Samuel Nuamah of the Ghanaian Times unfortunately passed away in the accident. Currently, four members of the Presdiential press corps are in critical condition; Pascaline Adadevoh and Napoleon Ato Kittoe of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, Patrick Bida of the Enquirer and William Gyentu of Peace FM.

The President visited the injured journalists Thursday night to commiserate with them. He also met with the family of the deceased Samuel Nuamah.

The Presidential press corps were involved in a gory accident Thursday afternoon, with one confirmed dead in the accident.

The accident occurred when the vehicle they were travelling in bust a tyre at Afienya around Tema, leading the vehicle to somersault. They were returning from Ho, where the President was present at the annual convention of the Evangelical Presbyterian (EP) church.
