A Syrian man escaped from the rubble of a bomb blast days after he had been presumed dead, and then walked into his own wake, reports the Independent.
Mohammed Rayhan was at a market in Douma when it was bombed by government forces. An air raid followed, so it was quite reasonable that Mohammed was assumed dead. The twin assaults have killed 117 so far.
After he failed to return home for over a day, his family began mourning him. But Mohammed survived 36 hours under the rubble, and then walked home covered all in dust, only to stumble on his own wake.
Needless to say, there was some rejoicing over the miraculous ‘resurrection’.
