Orlando Bloom is set to make a sensational return to the fifth instalment in the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise ‘Dead Men Tell No Tales’
The news was announced by Disney at the D23 Expo in California last week.
Fans of the series would be wondering how Bloom, whose character Will Turner is supposed to deceased would be making a return to the franchise? After all if you’re captain of the Flying Dutchman, you’re supposed to be dead.
Will gained that honour in ‘At World’s End’, leaving him out of filming for the fourth movie ‘On Stranger Tides’. But the writers invited him back for the new movie, and the award winning actor jumped on the chance to work with Johnny Depp again.
Depp, who was at the Disney Expo, came out in full Captain Jack Sparrow regalia during the announcement, entertaining the crowd with the legendary pirates antics.
‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ hits cinemas on July 7, 2017.
