American actor and comedian-Tracy Jamal Morgan will make his long-awaited comeback to “Saturday Night Live,” following a car crash that left him in critical condition in June 2014.
The 46-year-old actor has been assigned as one of the hosts of “SNL” when the 41st season returns–Morgan who is planning to resume his career will steer the affairs of Saturday Night Live on October 17.
He’s best known for his eight seasons as a cast member on Saturday night Live (1996–2003) and for his role as Tracy Morgan in the comedy series 30 Rock (2016–2013). He was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2009 for his work on 30 Rock and has appeared in numerous films as an actor and voice actor.
Miley Cyrus and Amy Schumer have also been assigned to emcee this season’s “SNL” which kick off two weeks time.
Miley Cyrus will mark third time as a host on the show on October 3, while Amy Schumer will make her hosting debut on the second episode on October 10.
