It’s deeply sad and I am particularly pushed by this to return to writing after my almost one month writing hiatus.
Several people have messaged me with a video of a woman falling from a tall storey-building (a near skyscraper )—and the conversations around the video say; the young woman jumped to her death because her husband has been sleeping with her mother who is pregnant.
According to unconfirmed reports, the woman is a Ghanaian…
Of course, nothing should be enough to push another to take away his or her own life—even if so, not in such a scary way. But if you’ve not gotten to that edge of life before or if you do not know what someone is enduring, you would easily call her actions absurd or callous.
Social media comments on this issue have been of mixed feelings—with some saying what the mother and husband did which forced this woman to take her own life is unforgivable and inherently diabolical.
On the other side of the spectrum, others think she had no reason to kill herself over such a useless man who has no shame to the extent of bedding his mother-in-law.
Until we gather more reliable info on this deeply sad occurrence, the question is; where do you sit on the spectrum of the discussion?
***For the obvious reason, I cannot upload a suicide video on here but it’s in circulation***
Correction: We have been told the video in circulation and the story are no way related.
So horrible…da sound of her fall was like dat of a frozen carton of chicken hit hard against da floor.. so o hmmmmmmm…
Why can’t someone tell us where exactly this happened? Obviously, not a sub-Saharan African scene/location, seeing as the Policemen and most on the scene are white. Not sure how many residential skyscrapers exist in Accra as well.
