Friends of Nduom (FON), a non-partisan political affiliated group has been launched in the Brong Ahafo Regional capital Sunyani, in honor of the Founder of Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, for his remarkable contributions to the the development of Ghana.
Founder and Leader of FON, Mr. Boye Oduro said the mission of the group is to promote national reconciliation and unity to achieve real better Ghana.
“We mean to create a social system not withstanding your political affiliation, ambition or class but to give priority to the welfare of a Ghanaian by implementing programmes in active consultation with members to ensure that both local and national priorities are met and that the people of Ghana are the entire beneficiaries.”
Mr. Issac Owusu, Member of the communication team of FON, called on Ghanaians to come together without any divisional attitude to move Ghana forward.
“Partisan politics has been a common enemy to the development of our nation–this is because it has succeeded in dividing us as one people with a common destiny, it has been capable of robbing us of our individual rights and citizens of mother Ghana–In order to fight this common enemy, It takes the collective of people devoid of party politics or differences.”
“We have to build Ghana through the grace of God. We should learn to stop blaming ourselves because the blame game cannot solve our problems but God who is almighty can do it without hesitation, we should desist from unnecessary demonstrations and vain talks and pray as hard as possible with fasting since this can do all things,” he added.
