Former One Direction member-Zayn Malik has signed a solo deal with RCA Records on Wednesday.

Malik who departed from One Direction wayback in March, has finally confirmed his plans to go solo.

The former One Direction member took to his twitter page to announce the great news;

“I guess I never explained why I left, it was for this moment to be given the opportunity to show you who i really am! #realmusic #RCA!!” He added in another message, “#REALME.” Malik also retweeted fan messages of support, including, “I. AM. HAPPY. FOR. YOU,” “ZAYN IS F*CKING SOLO I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE ALIVE,” and “Zayn got signed to the same record label as Chris Brown, G-Eazy, Shakira, Justin Timberlake, Prince Royse and Alisha Keys JUST IMAGINE.”
