See what graduate unemployment is pushing people to do!
An unemployed agric major from the University of Ghana had so much time on his hands that he decided to start posing as a medical student at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
He posed as one of the students doing their housemanship at the hospital, and had been helping out at the place for the past month.
The student, Ibrahim Nurudeen, was arrested whilst tending to patients at the Surgical Block of the Hospital, dressed in the white apparel of doctors, fully emblazoned with the hospital logo.
He claimed a friend gave it to him, but refused to name who.
Suspicion fell on him after people started reporting missing their electronic gadgets, and quick work by security picked him out as an impostor.
Whilst being led away, he remorsefully told the Daily Graphic that he graduated from Legon with a degree in Agric in 2013, but had decided to do this since he was unemployed and had a passion for medicine.
“I have been unemployed since, but since I had always had a passion for medicine, I felt like practising it to have a feel of it,” said Nurudeen.
“I am really disappointed in myself. I am sorry,”
Aaaawww so sad for him, but he should have applied for it and not pose as an impostor
