I wonder if President’s of countries in economic and social turmoil are allowed to go on leave.
The dumsor keeps raging, cost of living is rising, corruption and malfeasance on a high whilst workers are left hang out to dry, but nothing must stand in the way of the President’s leave.
A statement from the Presidency indicates that John Dramani Mahama has set out on a seven day leave, starting today, July 27th.
The statement added that during the period, some pre-arranged obligations would be all that he would honour.
The President would come back to work on Monday, August 3, 2015.
His last leave period was in December 2013, which he spent in Dubai.
