Another Ghanaian player is on the move after English club Aston Villa lodged a £12m bid for Lorient forward Jordan Ayew.
The French club has accepted the bid and Jordan is expected in England soon for talks over personal terms to be settled.
Jordan’s elder brother Andre has already completed his own move to England, now turning out for Swansea City also in the Premier League.
Aston Villa sold Christian Benteke to Liverpool, and has thus earmarked the hot headed Jordan to act as his direct replacement.
Jordan scored 13 goals in 28 appearances for Lorient last season.
When completed, Jordan would join Black Stars bigwigs Essien, Gyan and his own brother as those to have changed clubs this window, whilst Muntari is also on the verge of his own move.
