A 13 year old pupil of the Bethel Preparatory School in Somanya was found hanging in the school premises, assumed to have committed suicide.

Kenneth Olesu, the bell boy of the school, was nowhere to be found when it came time to perform his duties on Sunday evening.

A search of the school premises found him hanging on the stairs of the first floor of the school building, with a belt around his neck.

The headmaster and housemaster promptly informed the police, according to Graphic Online. The body was subsequently carted away for autopsy, whilst investigations have commenced into the matter.
