A Bomb blast has killed 30 and 100 others are wounded from the attack at a border town of Suruc in Turkey on Monday.
According to AFP reports, Most of the dead were university students who were planning to enter Syria to help rebuild Kobane, which was occupied by Islamic State for months before being recaptured by Kurdish forces in January.
Witnesses say the blast ripped through the center in Suruc-a town just across the border from Kobane, which was itself
later hit by a suicide car bombing-blowing out the windows and starting a fire.
Deputy Prime Minister Yalçın Akdoğan, the first senior government official to make a public statement concerning the attack, tweeted, “These terrorist attacks aimed at Turkey, our nation’s unity and integrity and serenity and peace will not achieve their goal in any way.”
He vowed, “the state, the government and the nation” will foil the attacks.
Officials of the the country suspects ISIS to be behind the bombings.
