Sad News: Fire Kills Two Kids In Tema New Town

Two young girls perished in a fire outbreak on Monday, at Tema New Town in Ghana.

The kids aged 4 and 14 years were sleeping in a wooden structure which serves as their shelter at a place called Zimbay Sport, unfortunately, they were unable to escape death when the structure caught fire.

Mary Kwenor, mother of one of the children told Joy News that although she heard the screams of her child and another girl, she was unable to help them because of the intensity of the fire.

The Ghana National Fire Service has begun with investigations to ascertain the cause of the fire outbreak.
