My definition of governance is: providing the needs of a country and policies that will benefit the citizenry but not to loot from the state’s funds and take care of your family alone, whilst the masses struggle for survival.
When it comes to many Ghanaian politicians, it’s about fight for power and cash to ‘chop’.
Many corruption cases which involved high time politicians or so called financier’s of political party’s are left to die.
But there seems to be a good news;
Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo Addo says he won’t allow anyone to use government’s money to enrich themselves when voted in power in the upcoming 2016 elections.
Nana in an address to party members at Manchester in the United Kingdom, said: “If your goal in coming into government is to enrich yourself, then don’t come. Go to the private sector. Public service is going to be exactly that; public service!”
