Sir Cecil Jones Attuquafio, former coach of Accra Hearts of Oak who passed away on May this year will be lay to rest on July 24, 2015 in Accra.
The family made the announcement when they paid a formal visit to President John Dramani Mahama on Tuesday.
He passed away on Tuesday, 12 May 2015 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra after battling a prolonged throat cancer.
Attuquayefio, Born on October 15, 1944, died at the age of 70.
Jones Attuquayefio was named the African Coach of the year after he led Hearts of Oak to win the African Champions League title in the year 2000.
He served in various capacities in foootball administration in Ghana and also managed the Benin national team in the 2004 Nations cup.
