Isaac Hempstead Wright, who plays the crippled Brandon Stark in HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones, has confirmed that he’s set to return to the show for season 6.
Bran and his travelling companions were noticeably absent from Game of Thrones season 5, which recently ended in a brutal manner. In an interview with the Irish Examiner, the actor confirmed what many fans have suspected; Brandon Stark is returning for Season 6.
“I can’t say a lot but I am back this season, and it’s going to get particularly interesting with Bran. He has some interesting visions,” Wright said.
Wright didn’t just miss last season, he hasn’t even watched it yet.
“I missed the whole of the last season because it was right in the middle of my exams, so I didn’t have the time to watch it. But I’m looking forward to getting with some friends and binge- watching it all.”
The biggest question for Thrones fans heading into the next season is ‘what is the fate of Jon Snow?’ Some think he’s dead, others think he will come back. Wright says he does not know…
“I don’t know (if he will come back). He’s said he’s not,” he said.
“I wish he would because I love Kit and because the character’s so cool. Who knows? We start filming series six at the end of this month (July) so we’ll see.”
You guys better give us some good news from the set regarding Jon Snow; otherwise we threaten to boycott the show. Lol
