Work on the Kwame Nkrumah Circle Interchange Project which is to curb congestion and reduce travel time for motorists and other users in Accra is nearing completion.
The project is expected to carry about 84,000 vehicles a day and link the major road network that connects the sub-urban areas of Accra to the central business district and would also see the provision of sheds and drainage systems around the flood area.
“It is estimated that the country will save up to about $25 million annually as the project is expected to fuel productivity,” Citifmonline.com reports.
The project which cost 74.88 million euro, is jointly financed by the Brazilian Government and the Government of Ghana.
Just drove by there a week ago and it’s nowhere near completion. The Job is not even 50% Complete.
LOL
Very true. I drove past only today. And I don’t think it is anywhere near complete.
