SHOWBIZ AND MORALITY: Names Of Ghanaian Celebrities Who Have Given Birth Giving Birth/Got Pregnant Outside Marriage – Is This Orientation A Big Deal At All?

TV presenter and actress Joslyn Duma, also has a daughter outside wedlock and freely shares the daughter’s pictures online from time to time. There are more that I wouldn’t be able to mention – but the point is, this orientation keeps going on day in day out.

Some few years back, young females who gave birth outside marriage felt mortified for not honouring their womanhood with esteem. Even today, there are some females who feel gauche for getting pregnant outside marriage – but here we are, role models, flaunt with birth without marriage or outside marriage!

As a society, should this be of concern vis-a-vis our culture, tradition, morality values, and belief system?

These aforementioned personalities are role models to many younger ones in society and their gaffe is one, one would wish they never fell for but again, another school of thought would say they are but only humans just like any human being who can falter or make mistakes in life.

So the questions worth cogitating upon on: Is this a big deal at all? Could these celebrities be corrupting their unsuspecting and weak-minded fans/followers into thinking that “getting pregnant or giving birth outside marriage is not a big deal – after all, Nadia Buari did it?”

Are these celebrities not aiding in a subtle form, to the moral decadence in or of our society? Is it time we start denouncing these celebrities regard this act – role models, getting pregnant or give birth outside our valued institution of marriage? Do they really feel ashamed at all? I’m only asking questions!

Also, this is a SIN right? They should prepare for God to beat the hell of them—on judgement day.
