Often it is the men dousing the women with acid but this lady has a different take on acid crime.
One Esther Enyornam is on the run after she poured some acid on her boyfriend after the two got into a very heated argument in the capital suburb of Madina.
According to Citifmonline, Esther’s boyfriend Eric reportedly broke up with her, which did not go down too well with her. So, partly in retaliation, she poured acid on him.
She bolted after that, whilst her unfortunate boyfriend is currently in hospital fighting for his life.
Police are expending all efforts to apprehend Esther.
After the death of the NPP Regional Chairman after a similar acid attack, a lot of spotlight was placed on how easy it was to acquire such a dangerous substance. But like good Ghanaians, we forgot about it a week or two later.
