Multiple award-winning star actress-Jackie Appiah donated several items and an undisclosed amount of money to victims of the June 3 tragic flood/Goil fire disaster this afternoon in Accra.
The beautiful actress visited the 37 Military Hospital and later Nima, a suburb of Accra where she interacted with several flood victims. She donated several items including bags of rice, cartons of water, drinks, toiletries, other food items and an undisclosed amount of money to support the victims—as they go through this hard time.
After presenting the items to the authorities of the 37 Military Hospital, Jackie Appiah also visited the children’s ward where she interacted with the children on admission and presented several items to them and their parents.
Jackie indicated that she was at the hospital to commiserate with those who had lost loved ones and properties and to wish those on admission a speedy recovery.
” I am still shocked by events of last Wednesday. Seeing the destruction, loss of life and property saddens my heart,” the actress said.
Jackie said a prayer for all those who were affected directly or indirectly by the two national disasters of flood and Goil petrol station explosion—and also made a passionate appeal to well meaning institutions both in Ghana and across the world to offer any kind of assistance, both in cash and kind to the affected people to enable them rebuild their lives.

im not buying it, people have lost their lives, burnt, homeless etc… and some called celebrities think they can use such a sad event for their own benefit of seeking attention and trying to portray as some goody goody in the face of people for their own interest. what kind of person who is really affected or truly want to help these victims will wake up in the morning, dress like some mother Theresa smh, full make up, heels on, thanking her stylist, make up artist on her facebook page, seeking for coverage for the whole world to see that yesssss she is donating to these pple. smh
