Ayigbe Edem won the best International Act-Africa Award at the Black Canadian Awards 2015.
The ‘Over Again’ hitmaker won the award at the 2015 edition of the ceremony held in Toronto last Saturday, beating the likes of Nigeria’s Davido and Yemi Alade, and South Africa’s Mafikizolo.
The Volta regime rapper, who’s had a good year with the commercial and critical success of his latest album ‘Books and Rhymes’: dedicated his award win to all the flood victims and their loved ones.
He also had some words of encouragement in there, especially concerning the empowerment of the youth going forward.
