A 40 year old palm wine tapper in the Western region has found himself on the wrong side of the law after strangling his girlfriend to death because she refused to gratify him when he wanted.

Graphic Online reports Emu Kwao, from Samenye in the Jomoro District in the Western Region of Ghana, is the culprit in question. He has been going out with the victim for two years, and went to see her one day to ask for seks.

The deceased refused, because her teenage son was visiting and was sleeping in the next room. An infuriated Kwao attempted to force the issue, grabbing her by the neck till she eventually dropped dead.

He was arrested by people in the community, who nearly lynched him for his alleged crime. The police arrived in the nick of time, and whisked him away to custody.

He’s currently assisting in investigations, whilst the body has been deposited at Half Assini government hospital for autopsy.

Wow, she’s your girlfriend for Christ’s sake; you don’t get it today you’ll get it tomorrow. Some people can be so cruel and incredibly short-sighted!
