The Ghana Black Satellites would take centre stage a week from now as they kick off their FIFA U-20 World Cup campaign.
Sellas Tetteh’s team finished third at the African Championships, thus booking their place at the world cup. The team have been in Australia preparing for the tournament that kicks off on May 30.
Ghana placed third at the last FIFA World Cup, having won the title the in 2009. All these feats were achieved under Tetteh, who would hope he can replicate the form of the 2009 team with this team.
Ghana is paired in Group B with Argentina, Panama, and Austria; and has named a strong squad including 2013 bronze ball winner Clifford Aboagye and Cagliari’s breakout star Godfred Donsah.
