Stonebwoy and Sarkodie have been nominated for the Best International Act: Africa at the forthcoming BET Awards 2015.

After slaying the 2015 Ghana Music  Awards by winning slew of awards, Stonebwoy’s hard work has once again been acknowledged, this time by a bigger force — BET.  The 26-year-old has been nominated for the first time at the highly-coveted awards show.

For Sarkodie, this will be his third time at the event, being nominated in 2012 and 2014 (winning it at the latter).

Stonebwoy and Sarkodie are competing with six other African artistes. They are: AKA (South Africa), Yemi Alade (Nigeria), Fally Ipupa (DR Congo), Wizkid (Nigeria), The Soil (South Africa) and Sauti Sol (Kenya).

The 2015 BET Awards is happening live at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 28.
