VIDEO: WTF! KFC Workers Caught on Camera Washing Chicken on the Floor

As human as we are, what goes down our throats really matter to us, especially the conditions under which the foods we eat are prepared.

There exist some groups of people who would always choose to eat from plush or well- established restaurants. For the local food joints in Ghana, we already have a fair idea about how they prepare their foods for the public – under poor hygienic conditions.

What we fail to realize is, some of these luxurious and well-branded restaurants commit the same crime of preparing their foods under pitiable conditions. Not too long ago, Dynasty Chineses Restaurant in Accra was closed down by the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) due to the unhygienic conditions in which they used to prepare their foods.

A video clip has emerged online showing some workers of KFC in Braamfontein, South Africa washing chicken meant for food on the floor. According to management of KFC, the chicken was meant to be thrown away. Who washes chicken in this part of the world before throwing it away?

You better be careful the next time you want to choose an eatery to eat from.

  1. This is why I stopped eating junk food and just save my money and cook my own food. This is disgusting, I will not be buying food outside in ghana no more (maybe once in a while)

  2. That was a pretty lame excuse to give. There are so many ways they could have twisted this story. They could have paid off the workers and released a statement claiming it wasnt a company practice but just the 2 lazy workers who were cutting corners. Then they should have further stated that those 2,had been fired and make a promise to its customers about their utmost commitment to sanitary practices blah blah blah. That would have done some pretty good damage control. Now they have made it worse.
