Things are not looking good for Ghanaian player-Kevin Prince Boateng…
“Schalke has cancelled the contracts of Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sidney Sam ‘with immediate effect’ as a ‘consequence’ of their surprise defeat by Cologne in the Bundesliga on Sunday.
The Royal Blues were beaten 2-0 at the RheinEnergieStadion to leave their hopes of qualifying for Europe hanging by a thread, and general manager Horst Heldt had promised action would be taken.
Boateng and Sam have both been released from the club while Marco Hoger is suspended from training or playing with the first-team squad until after Saturday’s game against Paderborn,” reports MailOnline.
Currently, Kevin Prince Boateng has no position in Ghana’s national team and at the club level, he does not have a club too…
I’m sure there would be quite a few Ghanaians chortling and mumbling something about karma as they hear this news.
Boateng had one year left on his deal, and would probably have left this summer anyway as his performances have significantly diminished since his move from Italian giants AC Milan- but Schalke have taken matters into their own hands and expedited the move.
Boateng is not the only victim, German winger Sidney Sam has also been released, whilst Marco Hoger is suspended from training with the team.
Probably next for Boateng would be Major League Soccer, where her can continue to earn some money whilst playing in a less quality league that would enable him to shine more.
Boateng has been something of a trouble child for Ghana since he chose to play for the Stars prior to the 2010 world cup. After an impressive world cup campaign earned him a move to Milan, he quit the Black Stars with some fabricated reasons. He returned, like most people predicted, for the 2014 world cup; but once again found himself in trouble when he and Muntari got kicked out of camp.
Yet some stupid FA leader will go beg him to come play for Ghana. Boy, u see what pride and arrogance is taking you? Anyway Aduana stars is ready to sign you.
Lmao @ Aduana stars
Has it gotten that bad?
