Under the auspices of the United Nations, the Sustainable Development and Solutions Network (SDSN) carried out the study to find out which is the world’s happiest and least happy nations.

This is the third time such report has found that the Swizz are the happiest people in the world. That is hard to dispute, with most of Scandinavia making up the rest of the top five.
Ghana, in the survey that ranked 158 countries, ended up 114th on the list. Our sisters Nigeria were 78th, with Togo ending up as the least happy country on planet Earth.
Eight of the ten least happy nations were from dear old Africa, joined by war torn Syria and Afghanistan.
The United States was ranked at 15th, with the United Kingdom back in 21st.
