Last week, I came across an article which stated that a group called “Ghana Drunkards Association” has threatened to go on strike and boycott the drinking of alcohol in Ghana if the quality of alcoholic drinks in the country is not improved.

I thought it was a hoax but these guys have been making appearances on mainstream TV and radio networks—we sort of confirms they are real and their threat is damn real.

These people claim manufacturers have drastically reduced the quality of alcoholic drinks in Ghana and they are not particular happy with what they get for their money. And if things do not change, they will go on a national strike.

The question is; what sort of association is this?
