There is a reason they call him ‘money’ Mayweather, and it’s not because both words start with the letter ‘M’.

Everyone should be used to Floyd’s excesses by now, but he always finds new ways to surprise you and let you marvel at his extravagance.

TMZ reports Floyd has his mouthpieces for his fights custom made, duh. The real catch though, is that he often has the inside lined up with extravagant stuff…golf flakes, diamonds, and for his upcoming bout, $100 bills.

“Floyd pays roughly $25,000-a-pop to get custom grill-protectors from NYC-based dentist Dr. Lee Gause — one of the most famous mouthpiece makers in pro sports.

So why the high price tag? Well, the fact Floyd often customizes his guards with things like gold flakes, diamonds and real $100 bills (sealed inside the mouthguard)”

Yeah, you read right. Think of all the things you could but with $25,000- and that’s what Mayweather spends to protect his teeth in fights.

And can you blame him? He’s never lost once with those pieces in.
