I love these kind of discoveries, because often you look at the supposed image and see nothing but some ‘blurred lines’, yet people are seeing their Lord Jesus Christ in there.
It’s my favourite type of confirmation bias, which I always explain to my Christian friends if they’re willing to listen. Confirmation bias is why Christians never remember the 1,001 times God never answered their prayers, but trumpet to the heavens the one time he supposedly did.
It’s a mental process that wires your brain to see things in only a certain direction of your choosing. Probably what is happening to this builder in Inverness, but I guess you can judge for yourself.
The builder, Paddy Morall, noticed an image in a piece of wood. He told MailOnline he believes it’s the image of Jesus.
Good for him, though I have only one question: who ever knew what Jesus looked like anyway?
I know we’ve been fed a certain image, but is that really how he looked like?
