Suge Knight has not been having the best 2015; on trial for murder after a fatal hit-and-run whilst battling serious health issues.

Four times since the case began, Suge has been carried out of the court in an ambulance. At the latest court date, where the bail amount was set; Suge once again left the courthouse attended by paramedics.

On the bail hearing itself, the judge set the bail amount at $25m. Suge’s lawyer was far from impressed, claiming it was an absurdly high price set. The highest ever bail price set in a criminal trial was the $10m John Gotti paid in a 1998 extortion case.

Defence attorneys argued that Suge’s behaviour in the past show he has a low opinion of the legal system- as beside being an ex-con Suge has violated numerous paroles in the past; and specifically requested the $25m amount.

Not long after the hearing whilst leaving the courthouse, Suge collapsed once again and had to be attended by paramedics.

Suge Knight was arrested after a fatal hit and run that killed his friend Terry Carter, he pled not guilty and has been in custody since. The next court date in the trial has been set for April 13.
