Why must the woman be the one to always be subjected to such inhumane treatment—and if a woman is to be caned for cheating, she surely did not cheat alone so what happens to the man?
Society has always been unfair to women—and it certainly goes beyond that. Even in the Bible and Quran, adulterous women are supposed to be beaten with little or nothing done to the men with whom they cheated.
It’s difficult to understand someone’s culture but what is bad is bad irrespective of the cultural argument. As a woman, I find the below video not only wrong but wicked.
And sadly, fellow women are part of those caning the woman…

Where is the man? Why is he not being caned as well? And look at the grown man holding the poor lady’s legs? Kenyans can be so primitive. The woman should have gone to the police to file charges. It’s her body and she used it. Why should she be punished? Africans are wicked, brutish and sadistic. I bet the man holding the legs is a jilted lover or someone who wished she had given him a chance. Pathetic!!
It’s awful, but society has some contrasting principles. When a woman meets a man for the first time, and within about an hour, kisses after him to his hotel room, only the man faces rape charge – Here, only the woman is punished for adultery.
Oh Africa!!
this is f**ked up….. i sometimes dont want to say im from africa bcos these b*tches here know that everything abt africa is disgusting…. y should someone be whooped bcos she was sleeping around with her friend’s husband…. why isn’t he being whooped tooo………. this is f**king stupid
GC. with ur obsession about the Bible I thought you would be interested to read how JESUS dealt with this subject matter.
John 8 New International Version (NIV)
8 1 but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4 and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” 6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”
11 “No one, sir,” she said.
“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
