Lupita Nyong’o’s $150000 Pearl-studded Dress Worn At This Year’s Academy Awards Has Been STOLEN

Actress Lupita Nyong’o’s beautiful and expensive pearl-studded dress which she wore for this year’s Academy Awards has been stolen, police said.

According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman John Mitchell, the Calvin Klein dress which was worn by the Oscar-winning actress was taken from her room at the London Hotel in West Hollywood on Wednesday–and that “Ms Nyong’o was not in the room at the time of the theft.”

The gown, custom designed by Francisco Costa, was adorned with 6,000 natural white pearls.

Nyong’o said she had helped with the design of the one-of-a-kind gown, influenced by the ocean and it cost $150,000—this is a lot of money to have it stolen.

No arrests have been made in connection with the theft yet! Sometimes, being so rich is bad—especially when something so expensive is stolen from you. But surely, this wouldn’t break Lupita’s bank…
