It looks like Ghanaians are indeed tired of how the incumbent government is steering the affairs of the country. Over the last few years, several Ghanaians have been on the many social media platforms complaining about the harsh conditions they are going through in the country.
The government has been adamant to the many social media complaints and as such, Ghanaians took to the streets today (February 18, 2014) to demonstrate against the government.
The demonstration, dubbed the ‘Wↄn Gbo’ (translated as WE’RE DYING) Demonstration, was originally organised by the opposition New Patriotic Party.
According to the few people that GhanaCelebrities.Com spoke to, they joined the demonstration not because of their political affiliation with the party but because of the hardship they are encountering in the country.
“This is too much. The president should be sued for deceiving Ghanaians. Mahama is the worst president Ghana has had. I get only 8 hours of light for a whole week. Why? All businesses are collapsing. We can’t stand this anymore. I voted for NDC in the last election but I’m not willing to vote for that party again”, one of the demonstrators told GhanaCelebrities.Com.

It serves Ghanaians right. Next time they will vote wisely. DumSor for ever. They voted for NDC, let them enjoy NDC. I could care less. I live abroad 365 days a year electricity. I even get bored of my electricity being on all the time.
Ghana has always had electricity issues. Still relying on akosombo dam Nkrumah built. RAWLINGS, KUFFUOR AND MILLS. . didn’t build any back up. Mahama can not force rain to fall in akosombo so why this demonstration? At least there is an ongoing project to solve the electricity problem so why the demonstration? Remember same thing happened during Kuffuors time and these same ppl gathered to pray for rain to fall in akosombo. Now they are acting like they don’t know what is going on and blaming mahama for it. Smh Ghana.
Some of these signs r funny, but it really is sad…Next time some ppl will use their “kokromoti” (thumb) wisely
