People get fired from their jobs all the time—and for different reasons. But for this teenager, she was fired before she even started the job…
A teenager from Texas was hired to start work at a pizza parlor and before her start date, she took to twitter to complain about the job she was about to start and her new boss saw it.
In a hilarious Twitter exchange, the teenager who goes by ‘Cella’ wrote: ‘Ew I start this f*** a** job tomorrow.’
And the next morning, Robert Waple – the owner of Jet’s Pizza in Mansfield, Texas – tweeted at her: ‘And….no you don’t start that FA job today! I just fired you! Good luck with your no money, no job life!’
The The exchange between the two became an instant hit online. Mr Waple’s tweet has been retweeted 3,800 times and favorited more than 4,200.
According to Mr Waple, one of Cella’s future co-workers told him about the tweet and he had to log on to check it out himself.
Now employers do not just check your social media activities to establish either to hire you or not—they also check your online activities to decide either to fire your butt or not.
Good for her. Now she can carry on with her full time job on Twitter. Lol
Hahaha. lol
She should have been careful because employers do check your social network sites. Why would you go for a job you don’t like anyways?
Lol, this is funny but nowadays employers r very keen on employees social media activities so we all should be careful; even if yours is strictly private.
