The Citizens Are Lazy & Non-Daring: Obviously the government is blamed for everything in Ghana and many parts of the world but to be frank, the citizens are the reflection of the government.  If you have a bunch of dishonest, corrupt and dim-witted citizens hovering on a piece of land, eventually some of these same people would become leaders in government.

The government is just a by-product of the bigger population who are doing nothing to ensure that these leaders are accountable to them.

I didn’t have to study anything to know that if I choose someone or put someone at a place, that person ought to owe me something—at worst, the person ought to owe me some damn loyalty and at best, the person has to have my interest at heart. In between the two, the person has to be accountable to me.

And the only way to make a cat watching over a meat accountable is to ensure you are daring and ready to cut its throat if it attempts to be smart with your meat.

Ghanaians are lazy at watching over their own future, resources and they are not daring or do not serve as any threat to those in charge. If I am given a big piece of land to play on it and the owner doesn’t really care about what I do on the land, I will surely build a mansion on it—after all, who the f**k cares and who is out there to tell me I cannot do that?

Ghana is the worst I have seen in terms of the existing relationship between the thief and the watchman. The latter is deeply asleep and the former is actively awake, doing whatever he wants…
