Where are dem B.E.P fans? Rejoice!

Will.i.am has confirmed Black Eyed Peas will release “new music” this year as they mark their 20-year anniversary. The group’s frontman revealed the exciting news in an interview with Capital Fm‘s Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon.

OK I can’t give too many details, but there’s a bunch of Pea Bodies out there that we’ve been tweeting back and forth for the past couple of days over the excitement of twenty years of Black Eyed Peas.

We’re going to have new music. We’ll have a bunch of new experiences. I don’t want to call them albums, but we’ll have some experiences and a bunch of stuff to get the #PeaBodies and the folks that supported us and got us to this point. So we’ll make music for them and we’ll just reflect on the dream. The initial dream we had, June 1995.

Can’t wait to hear what they’ve been cooking for us. Their last album, “The Beginning”, was pretty lackluster in my view. No wonder it couldn’t match the enormous success of it’s predecessor, “The E.N.D”.

Hopefully their new release should be as good as their critically-acclaimed album, “The E.N.D”.
