I have spoken to Afia Schwarzenegger and it looks like we have to embrace ourselves for one hell of a long scandal as she insists she is truly married to UK based Godson Yaw Boakye—but there is more to it.

Here is a thought, could it be that the guy is keeping all his options open? He lives in the UK. Perhaps the marriage there affords him a home and security. Perhaps his immigration status is linked to this marriage in UK. So denying his marriage to Afia is the only way forward. Afia lives in Ghana so perhaps he considers her a second wife or a side dish with no consequences. Perhaps he has an open marriage with Afia? So Afia is not wrong by saying he’s her husband. After all she also says she Mahama’s girlfriend. On a more serious note do you know the sort of harm your reporting could be doing to the man, his wife or ex wife and their kids plus the possibility of putting his status in jeopardy? Ghanaians abroad do all sorts of things to get their papers and this could be one case where the guy did it for just that reason and decided to keep someone else at home to warm his bed. Perhaps after 3 kids, the nyanya is no longer fresh and they are going through a dry spell bedroom wise so he needed something more risqué. If that is the case how is this Afia’s fault? Besides it sounds like a win win for both of them. So what’s the problem? For those calling her a home wrecker, how is that her fault?
