If you’ve been wondering why any of the women claiming to have been sexually assaulted by Bill Cosby has not sued him yet, let me tell you that they cannot really sue him—because of something called statute of limitation which bars them.

However, one of the accusers- retired attorney Tamara Green has just sued Bill Cosby…but for lying.

According to Tamara, while on a lunch date at some point during the early ’70s, the Bill Cosby allegedly drugged her and allegedly groped her back in her apartment.

Bill Cosby through his publicist has denied the above allegation—and this is where Tamara is suing him for defamation.

According to the defamation lawsuit filed against Bill in Massachusetts, Tamara claims the denials coming from Bill’s publicist have marked her a liar, and that as a result of this, she’s been privately and professionally ridiculed—amounting to defamation.

Since TRUTH is a defence to defamation, Bill Cosby can defend himself by saying, his denial is the truth—but this may bring into discussion, whether the assault really happened or not. And this exactly what Tamara seems to want.

Bill Cosby has not responded to the lawsuit but it is likely, the court will throw out the claim saying the denial does not amount to defamation.
